She was born and raised in a small village in Italian Switzerland where he still lives. She moved to Milan to study dance theatre, a starting point to begin to construct/deconstruct his personal artistic research. She is passionate about body language, wordless poetry, analog photography, blurry, grainy and wrong images. In 2014 she began her authorial practice which moves between entertainment, performance, photography and installation, placing a multifaceted reflection on identity and its vulnerability at the center of his research, creating: STILL LEBEN (2014), Princesses karaoke or something like that …(2016), Io sono un’altra (2018), KISS! (Loving Kills) (2021). She is co-founder of Collettivo Treppenwitz (2018) and creator together with 4 other artists of the movement «Ticino is burning» (2021).
He trained as an actor at the Bologna Theater School directed by Alessandra Galante Garrone and worked, among others, with Leo De Berardinis and Remondi & Caporossi.
In 1992 he founded the theater company Scena Verticale, with which he is present in the major festivals and theaters in Italy and abroad. Among the major awards: two Ubu Awards 2007 with Dissonorata (best actor and new Italian text), the Ubu Award 2010 with La Borto (new Italian text), the UBU Award 2012 (best actor for the interpretation of Italianesi).
In 2010 he also obtained the Hystrio Prize for dramaturgy. In 2015 with Polvere win two Enriquez Awards: Lo Straniero Award and the Annibale Raiuto Award
Valentina Valentini teaches performing arts and electronic and digital arts at Sapienza University of Rome. His research includes the field of interference between theatre, art and new media. Among his publications: “Nuovo Teatro Made in Italy” (2015), “Medium senza Medium” (2015), “Drammaturgie sonore” (2012), “Worlds, bodies, materials. Theaters of the second half of the twentieth century” (2007). He publishes in national and international journals (Performance Research, PAJ, Biblioteca Teatrale, Arabeschi). Born and raised in Afghanistan, is an activist and artist who uses her art to speak out against m1sogyny and oppress1on. Her work consists of a mixture of wearable monuments, performance, painting, photography, curation, and installation pieces. lt has been displayed in numerous national and international exhibitions. In 2015, she received an honorable mention in the UNICEF Photo of the Year Award. In 2020, her art exhibit called Abarzanan-Superwomen-which celebrates pioneering Afghan women, was featured in the New York Times, and in 2021 she received the Prince Claus Seed Award, MujerHoy awards and BBC 100 Women.

From the show Thanks for Vaselina he wrote and directed the film Thanks! in 2019; he received the Maschere del Teatro award as a new author for writing Cous cous klan. In 2019, the three theatrical texts (Thanks for Vaselina, Animali da Bar, Miracoli Metropolitani) were released by the Cue Press publishing house with a preface by Rodolfo di Giammarco. He teaches playwriting, directing and acting in national and international academies and private schools.

In Bologna she enrolled at the University and attended the degree course in Film History and Criticism at the DAMS. During her studies she began her work experience as a videomaker and photographer. Once she graduated, she went from speaker at Radio Città Fujiko, to waitress at Osteria Rovescio, to account at a communications agency, HIBO. Then he returned to Ticino and began his career in the world of aerial promotion at RSI Radio Television of Italian Switzerland, putting his 360-degree creative skills into play. In addition to her daily work as a video editor of TV promos, she also creates television commercials as a director and editor. is a writer, filmmaker and anthropologist based at the Department of the Arts (DAR), in Universita’ di Bologna, and at the Department of Anthropology, Goldsmiths College, London. He has a multidisciplinary background in economics, anthropology and visual art, and his work focuses on the relationships between aesthetics and politics, particularly between art and capitalism. He teaches Film and Visual Anthropology, Anthropology of Art, and Politica! Anthropology.

PhD in contemporary art history and curator, her research interests focus on artists’ cinema, intermedia and performative practices and the Neo-Avant-Garde in ltaly in the 60s and the 70s, the artist’s writings and the archive as an artistic practice. She previously ran the Art, Architecture and Urbanism department of the Adriano Olivetti Foundation, curating public art projects, seminars, conferences and the acquisition of Olivetti’s architects and designers archives. She opposes natural, socia! and politica! determinism, to any form of domination, the male supremacy, the religion, cultura! segregation, racism … Always mixed with humor, sometimes parody or even grotesque, her work questions the phenomenaof society and shakes up the pre-established codes.
She is a visual artist working in diverse medias and within a span of aesthetic practices such as performance, photography, sculpture and painting. She lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her physically and mentally demanding practices are often centered on breathing. Breathing has become the most important starting point for Dupont’s performative works, consistently realised through her work entitled Marking Breath. Dupont marks her breaths on different materials from sunrise to sunset. The materials are always related to the piace in which she is located. The materiality is a witness and bearer of remembrance of the piace and a situated and site-specific reality. Through Dupont’s practice, she explores human beings and connectedness in which her own body is her primary tool.
